NAPA COUNTY, CA (August 10, 2026) – Sunday morning, a startling bus crash on James Canyon Road and S Kelly Road sent 1 person to the hospital.

The incident involving two buses happened at around 8:00 a.m. on eastbound Jameson Canyon Road at South Kelly Road.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office urged the public to avoid the eastbound lanes at about 8:18 a.m. following the collision.

California Highway Patrol dispatch traffic reported that one person was transported to a hospital for treatment. The westbound lanes remained open at the time.

Authorities had not provided an estimated time for when the eastbound lanes would reopen.
