Man Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on 1300 Finnell Street

DALLAS, TX (July 14, 2026) – Saturday night, Miguel De La Osa Gonzalez was arrested after a startling carjacking crash on 1300 Finnell Street.

The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. when police responded to a robbery at the hospital in the 1300 block of Finnell Street.

Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing a truck and striking its owner during a robbery.

According to investigators, the incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. while the owner of a trucking company was standing outside his truck.

Police said the suspect, identified as Miguel De La Osa Gonzalez, got into the truck and drove away. The owner attempted to stop the theft by stepping in front of the vehicle, but was struck before the suspect fled. Surveillance cameras captured the stolen truck leaving the scene.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after suffering head and multiple other injuries.

Police located the stolen truck the following day in the 9400 block of Larga Drive, about two miles from where it was taken. Officers conducted a traffic stop and arrested Gonzalez, who was booked into the Dallas County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
