Injuries Reported in Lufkin Auto Accident on 400 Southwood Drive

LUFKIN, TX (October 8, 2025) – Monday, three people were airlifted after a startling head-on crash on 400 Southwood Drive.

Reports said that the crash happened in the 400 block of Southwood Drive.

Lufkin police say four people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash involving a silver Buick and a Ford truck Friday morning.

According to investigators, a woman, teenager, and child were traveling south in the Buick when it collided with a man driving north in the truck.

Three of the people involved were flown to out-of-town hospitals around 8:30 a.m. Their conditions have not yet been released.

The Lufkin Police Department said the crash remains under investigation.
