Sheriff’s Deputy Injured in Startling Head-On Crash on N Hacienda Road [La Habra Heights, CA]

Injuries Reported in La Habra Heights Wrong-Way Accident on N Hacienda Road and E Canada Sombre Lane

LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CA (April 9, 2024) – Monday morning, an LA County Sheriff’s deputy suffered injuries in a head-on crash on N Hacienda Road.

The incident involving the deputy’s cruiser occurred at about 10:00 a.m. near N Hacienda Road and E Canada Sombre Lane.

Reports said that the deputy was driving south on Hacienda when a northbound car veered into the oncoming lanes and struck the deputy’s cruiser head-on. After the crash, massive front-end damage was found in both vehicles.

Meanwhile, the department revealed that the deputy sustained just minor injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver sustained a fractured forearm. Both were taken to a nearby hospital.

Also, the authorities are still trying to determine what caused the driver of the other vehicle to veer into oncoming traffic
