Injuries Reported after Doolittle Motorcycle Accident

DOOLITTLE, MO (June 29, 2026) – Saturday night, a firefighter sustained injuries in a startling motorcycle crash in Doolittle, Missouri.

The incident happened when an alleged drunk driver rear-ended the Phelps County firefighter’s motorcycle.

According to the Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District, one of its firefighters was transported to a Level I trauma center in St. Louis, where he was listed in stable condition.

The department said the crash highlights the dangers of impaired driving and noted that it was the second time in the past two years that one of its firefighters had been struck by an intoxicated driver.

Officials said they are asking the community to keep the injured firefighter and his family in their thoughts as he recovers.
