FRESNO, CA (May 24, 2026) – Saturday night, a person sustained injuries in a startling motorcycle crash near Bond Avenue and Ashlan Avenue.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. near Bond Avenue and Ashlan Avenue.

Responding officers said they found a motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, lying on the ground and conscious but not fully responsive. He was taken to a local hospital, and his condition has not been released.

Investigators said the rider was traveling eastbound on Ashlan Avenue near Bond Avenue when a vehicle attempted to make a left turn in front of him, leading to the collision.

Police said the driver, believed to be in his 50s, remained at the scene but was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Officers advised drivers to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
