Injuries Reported in San Antonio Auto Accident on Crooked Trail and Lake Vista

SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 9, 2025) – Friday night, a 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after a startling motorized mini-bike crash on Crooked Trail.

The incident happened at about 8:44 p.m. on Crooked Trail and Lake Vista.

Officers found the injured teen after a crash involving a white Toyota Scion, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Police said the 57-year-old driver initially stopped to check on the boy but left before officers arrived. While investigators were still at the scene, the driver returned, was detained, and cooperated with police.

The teen was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
