1 Injured in San Angelo Multi-Vehicle Accident on West Avenue N and S Monroe

SAN ANGELO, TX (January 30, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a startling multi-vehicle crash on West Avenue N and S Monroe led to injuries.

The crash involved three vehicles, including a pickup truck driver who failed to control his speed.

“At the time of the crash, the traffic was stopped due to a vehicle that was attempting to turn onto South Monroe,” San Angelo Police Officer Kvittem revealed. “The black Chevy pickup was coming at, what I was told, a high rate of speed – unknown what his speeding conditions were – but he failed to control his speed.”

A Chevrolet pickup truck rear-ended a white Lincoln, causing it to be pushed into a blue Chevrolet pickup, according to Kvittem.

The driver of the Lincoln was taken by ambulance for treatment.

The driver of the black Chevrolet was cited for failure to control speed.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
