Woman Hit by Her Own Car in Victorville Pedestrian Accident near Seventh Street and B Street

VICTORVILLE, CA (July 27, 2026) – Saturday morning, a woman was hurt in a startling pedestrian crash near Seventh Street and B Street.

The incident happened at about 2:32 a.m. near Seventh Street and B Street.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a woman was struck by her own vehicle during the theft of her car at a motorcycle gathering.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jenny Smith said deputies responded after receiving a report of a vehicle theft. Investigators learned the victim was attending a motorcycle-related gathering with about 60 people when a fight broke out

As the disturbance unfolded, the woman exited her vehicle to help a family member, leaving the engine running. Smith said an unknown suspect got into the vehicle and attempted to flee. While reversing, the suspect struck the victim with her own vehicle.

The victim and her family member left the scene out of fear for their safety before reporting the incident to authorities.

Deputies later recovered the stolen vehicle near Sixth Street and B Street, but the suspect was not found.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information about the suspect has been released.
