1 Person Hurt in Morgan County Pedestrian Accident on 28400 Holt Road

MORGAN COUNTY, MO (May 4, 2026) – Saturday night, a startling pedestrian crash on 28400 Holt Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. in the 28400 block of Holt Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas accidentally reversed and struck a 40-year-old woman who was pushing the SUV up a hill.

Moreover, responders airlifted the victim to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
