Injuries Reported in Shell Beach Pedestrian Accident on Boeker Avenue and Shell Beach Boulevard

SHELL BEACH, CA (March 5, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a woman and her dog were hurt in a startling pedestrian crash on Boeker Avenue and Shell Beach Boulevard.

The incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. on Boeker Avenue and Shell Beach Boulevard.

A woman and her dog were struck by a vehicle while walking, according to Pismo Beach Police Officer Brian Hanson.

A witness who called for medical help wrote on Nextdoor that the Mini Cooper involved in the crash dragged the woman and the dog. Both were injured, and the woman was taken to Adventist Health Sierra Vista hospital with serious injuries.

Hanson said drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash.
