Injuries Reported in Victorville Pedestrian Accident on Lindero Road near Ridgecrest Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 9, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a man was hospitalized after a startling pedestrian crash on Lindero Road near Ridgecrest Road.

The crash occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on Lindero Road near Ridgecrest Road, at the end of a cul-de-sac near the entrance to Extra Space Storage.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jenny Smith, an adult man was injured after being struck by an unknown vehicle while changing a tire.

Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian and found that the man had been changing a tire on his vehicle when he was hit by an unknown black vehicle.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. San Bernardino County Fire personnel also responded and requested an air ambulance to take him to a trauma center.

The suspect vehicle was not located and remains outstanding. No additional description was immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
