MARICOPA, AZ (November 29, 2025) – Tuesday night, a startling pedestrian crash on Terragona Boulevard injured two people.

The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. when two adult pedestrians attempted to cross Terragona Boulevard in front of Desert Wind Middle School. Then, a vehicle making a turn struck them.

A woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, while a man, whose identity has not been released, was treated at the scene for scrapes and bruises.

The driver remained on site, and police are conducting a DUI investigation to determine if alcohol or drugs were involved.
