WATSONVILLE, CA (August 31, 2025) – Saturday night, a startling plane crash on Buena Vista Drive injured 2 people.

The incident involving a remote-controlled plane that went off course happened at about 7:00 pm. at the Watsonville Municipal Airport on Buena Vista Drive.

Two adults were injured after being struck during the crash, officials said. One suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained moderate injuries.

The small plane also caused damage to the exterior of a nearby home.
