3 People Hospitalized in Monterey County Auto Accident on Highway 101 near Soledad

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (October 12, 2025) – Thursday night, a startling rollover crash on Highway 101 near Soledad injured three people.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Highway 101 near Soledad.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound black GMC SUV veered off the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle crashed, rolled over, and struck a pole before coming to rest on its wheels.

Moreover, responders transported the four occupants of the vehicle, including three children and the female driver, who sustained major injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
