BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 23, 2026) – Early Saturday morning, two men sustained critical injuries in a startling single-vehicle crash on Brimhall Road and Renfro Road.

The incident happened at around 12:12 a.m. on Brimhall Road and Renfro Road.

Investigators said a silver Nissan sedan was traveling westbound on Brimhall Road when the driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign and continued into a field at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle then struck a large dirt berm and overturned, according to police.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
