Injuries Reported in Mountain Ranch Auto Accident near Mountain Ranch Road and Sun Road

MOUNTAIN RANCH, CA (May 14, 2026) – Tuesday, a startling traffic crash near Mountain Ranch Road and Sun Road led to a minor injury.

Authorities said the crash was reported around 11 a.m. near the westbound side of the roadway. A caller reported that a male subject was standing near the road with a bloody face, while the vehicle involved could not initially be seen from the roadway.

Further reports indicated the truck was located about 500 feet from the road next to a bus stop.

CHP requested a tow service at about 11:06 a.m. CAL FIRE also responded to the scene and later confirmed the driver was no longer at the location.

The incident was later updated from a traffic collision with unknown injuries to a minor injury crash. Units cleared the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m.
