2 People Hurt in Boone County Auto Accident on Interstate 70 and Mile Marker 121

BOONE COUNTY, MO (June 14, 2026) – Thursday night, a startling traffic crash on Interstate 70 and Mile Marker 121 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 70 and Mile Marker 121.

According to reports, a 2026 Peterbilt 589 semi-truck failed to slow for traffic and rear-ended a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Toyota to rear-end a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, which in turn struck a 2026 Mercedes Sprinter van that in turn struck a 2025 Honda CRV.

Moreover, responders transported two people to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
