HARLINGEN, TX (June 2, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a startling traffic crash on Monte Cristo Road and Closner Boulevard led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. on Monte Cristo Road and Closner Boulevard.

According to reports, a southbound white semi entered the intersection and collided with a Toyota Camry, a Ford Bronco, a Nissan, and a truck tractor hauling watermelons.

Moreover, officers reported multiple injuries after the crash.

Furthermore, the incident closed northbound Closner Boulevard.
