HARRIS COUNTY, TX (April 7, 2026) – Monday, a startling UTV crash on 16900 Shrub Oak Drive injured 3 juveniles.

The accident involving a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) happened in the 16900 block of Shrub Oak Drive, said Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies said a UTV went into a nearby bayou, leaving three juveniles injured.

The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed. Authorities also said it is unclear why the children were in the vehicle or whether it was being driven without supervision.

A Life Flight helicopter was called to assist with transporting at least one of the victims.

The area remains active with a heavy emergency response as investigators work to determine what led to the crash.
