COLUMBIA, MO (June 30, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a startling UTV crash on Route A in Howard County injured two women.

The incident happened on Route A in Howard County, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two women from Higbee were seriously injured when a 2024 Honda SXS700M crashed.

Troopers said the UTV was traveling northbound when it left the right side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.

Both women were transported by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.

The patrol reported that neither woman was wearing a safety restraint at the time of the crash.
