Woman Dies in Riverside Pedestrian Crash
Riverside, CA (February 21, 2025) – 61-year-old Stephanie Varieur of Riverside lost her life in an Interstate 215 accident Thursday night.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened before 8 p.m. on the southbound highway near Van Buren Boulevard.
CHP said a tractor-trailer or three-wheel motorcycle may have struck Varieur in the No. 2 lane of the freeway.
Immediately, Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded within 10 minutes and declared her deceased at the scene.
The authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Riverside CHP office at 951-324-7210.
