Cabazon, CA (March 11, 2025) – 59-year-old Steve De Leon of Whittier died early Sunday morning after a frightening hit-and-run crash on Seminole Drive.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened near Millard Pass Road.

Investigators determined that Deleon was riding eastbound on Seminole Drive when a vehicle struck him from behind, ejecting him from his bicycle. The driver fled the scene without stopping. Emergency responders pronounced Deleon dead at the scene.
