Steven Dolan Dies in Highway 1 Motorcycle Crash [Moss Landing, CA]

Moss Landing, CA (April 22, 2023) – On Friday, Steven Dolan, 28, of Moss Landing, sustained fatal injuries following a Highway 1 motorcycle crash.

The traffic collision took place at about 6:58 a.m. in the area of Pieri Court.

Investigating officers said 22-year-old Porterville man was driving an eastbound 2021 Ram on Pieri Court and stopped at the stop-sign to make a left turn on HWY 1. At the same time, Dolan man was driving a southbound 2017 Suzuki on HWY 1 and was approaching the Ram.

The Ram turned left in front of the motorcycle and Dolan’s motorcycle crashed into the Ram. Dolan was ejected from his motorcycle and his bike stopped on the east shoulder.

Rescuers rushed him to Natividad Medical Center where he died.

CHP said both drivers were using safety equipment at the time of the collision. Alcohol and drugs are not considered to be factors in this crash.
