Steven Tobias Guzman Dead in Motorcycle Crash on Bell Street [Amarillo, TX]

Amarillo, TX (April 4, 2026) – Steven Tobias Guzman, 57, was killed, and three people were injured following a motorcycle crash on Bell Street Friday evening.

The deadly traffic collision occurred around 6 p.m. at the intersection with 54th Avenue.

According to the authorities, a black truck and the motorcycle were speeding north when the motorcycle struck a white Chevy Silverado on its passenger side door.

Police said the Chevy pickup truck was eastbound on 54th Avenue when it was hit.

Rescuers declared the motorcyclist, Guzman, deceased at the crash scene, while his passenger was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, APD said the Chevy’s driver and passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger was also rushed to a hospital.

Officers said the black truck kept going.

APD officers are investigating.
