Suspect Arrested after Crash on 10 Freeway in Riverside
Riverside, CA (July 28, 2023) – Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a crash on 10 Freeway and Jackson Street involving a stolen vehicle.
Deputies spotted a stolen vehicle around 11:30 a.m. Friday and attempted to stop it near Fred Waring Drive and Adams Street. When the suspect vehicle failed to stop, a chase ensued.
However, the suspected vehicle crashed into an occupied by two and rolled into the wash in the area of the (Interstate) 10 Freeway and Jackson Street.
“The driver of the involved vehicle was evaluated on the scene, and the passenger was transported to a local hospital for a complaint of pain.”
The suspect was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
