Suspect Arrested in Horrific Hit-and-Run Crash on West 64th Avenue [Arvada, CO]

Arvada, CO (February 14, 2026) — On Friday, police arrested a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run crash on West 64th Avenue that seriously injured a bicyclist earlier this week in Arvada.

According to the Arvada Police Department, the crash happened before 7 a.m. Monday near West 64th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. Officers arrived to find a man lying in the roadway and determined he had been riding a bicycle when a vehicle struck him and fled.

The bicyclist survived but suffered severe injuries, including a broken pelvis and a fractured back. Investigators later identified and arrested the suspect on charges related to leaving the scene of a crash causing serious injury, driving without a license, and lacking proof of insurance.
