SUV Occupants Injured in SR 86 Hit-and-Run Crash [Imperial County, CA]

Imperial County, CA (July 18, 2026) – SUV occupants were injured following a SR 86 hit-and-run crash Friday morning.

The traffic accident happened before 7 a.m. near Black Diamond Road.

According to the authorities, semi tractor trailer was trying to pass the SUV when it sideswiped the car. The tractor trailer drove southbound from the scene.

The couple riding the SUV were injured in the collision.

Officers are looking for the big rig that has red lettering on a white cab and a loaded trailer.
