Eagle Rock, CA (November 5, 2025) — A Los Angeles Metro bus driver, identified as 50-year-old Tanya Perry of Inglewood, was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Eagle Rock.

According to investigators, the incident happened around 7:40 p.m. near Colorado Boulevard and Eagle Dale Avenue. Perry was crossing the street during her break when a southbound vehicle entering the 2 Freeway onramp hit her and fled the scene.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded, but Perry died from her injuries at the scene.
