Taylor Laska and Guy Kapulnik Die in Summit Valley Road Crash [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (September 27, 2026) — Guy Kapulnik, 46, of Los Angeles, and Taylor Laska, 33, of Santa Monica, died in an airplane collision Thursday morning in Hesperia.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded around 9:53 a.m. to the area of Summit Valley Road and Telephone Canyon Road following the aircraft collision.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified Kapulnik as the pilot and Laska as the passenger. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation.
