Teen Girl Dies in 73rd Avenue Accident [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (January 22, 2026) –  A teen girl was fatally injured following a 73rd Avenue accident Tuesday evening.

The fatal traffic accident happened before 8:30 p.m. at the intersection with Lower Buckeye Road.

Responding officers located the victim suffering from severe injuries. She was transported to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Moreover, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Investigators suspect impairment may have been a factor, but no charges have been filed.
