SACRAMENTO, CA (November 14, 2021) – Friday night, a teen sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:45 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
 
Reports revealed that a black Mercedes Benz ML300 SUV with a California license plate reading 6GYR199 struck a 15-year-old boy. The crash happened as the pedestrian crossed the road against a red light. Then, the force of the crash tossed the teen across the intersection.
 
Afterward, the Benz pulled over the right shoulder before fleeing the scene towards Franklin Avenue.
 
Moreover, responders transported the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
