14-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Queen Creek and Sossaman Road

Queen Creek, AZ (August 30, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a 14-year-old girl sustained injuries in a crash on Queen Creek and Sossaman roads.

The auto-pedestrian crash in Queen Creek happened on August 30.

Queen Creek Police said there are about 30 students from the junior varsity and varsity teams who were outside running near Queen Creek and Sossaman roads when a pickup truck hit the girl while in the crosswalk.

The truck driver stayed at the scene. 

The girl now is in stable condition. She is a member of the cross-country running team from Benjamin Franklin High School.

Further investigation into this incident is ongoing.
