EL PASO, TX (September 2, 2026)– Two people suffered injuries in an ATV crash on Timothy Drive on Tuesday morning, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded shortly after 9 a.m. on September 2 to the 13500 block of Timothy Drive after receiving reports of an ATV crash involving serious injuries.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Special Traffic Investigators unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

According to the preliminary investigation, a blue Yamaha all-terrain vehicle was traveling westbound on a dirt road at a high rate of speed.

Investigators said the ATV went over a dirt berm, described as a raised mound or wall of compacted soil. The impact reportedly caused the 15-year-old driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the teenage driver for treatment of serious injuries. A passenger also received medical attention for suspected minor injuries.

Authorities have not released additional information about the identities of those involved or the current condition of the teenage driver.
