Police Investigate Crash on Stratford Road in Moses Lake

Moses lake, WA (May 15, 2025) – A 14-year-old boy sustained injuries in a crash on Stratford Road.

An SUV collided with a 14-year-old boy riding a gas-powered mini bike Thursday afternoon along Stratford Road near the Sun Splash Car Wash, sending the teen to the hospital.

The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on May 8, as the SUV turned into the car wash. 

Preliminary reports indicate that the teenager was riding the mini bike along the sidewalk when he struck the side of the turning vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and found the boy lying on the ground near the impact site. 

Moses Lake fire officials on the scene reported that the teen likely suffered fractures to his arms or legs. 

Paramedics transported him by ambulance for further medical evaluation and treatment.

Authorities confirmed that no other injuries occurred in the incident. 

While the investigation remains ongoing, officials have not yet finalized the crash report or determined fault.
