4 Critically Injured in Deadly DUI Crash in Marin County

Novato, CA (April 12, 2026) – A teen passenger was killed in a San Marin Drive vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

It was before 1 a.m. when the deadly solo-vehicle crash happened in the area of Simmons lane.

Responding officers said five teens between the ages of 16 and 18 were driving a sedan crashed into a utility pole. All of them were rushed to the hospital.

Sadly, one of the passengers was declared dead at the hospital and the other four teens were in critical condition. Police said they are not from Marin County.

Investigator determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
