53-Year-Old Terry Vanoverloop Dies in Baldwin Street 2-Vehicle Crash [Calaveras County, CA]

Calaveras County, CA (May 29, 2026) – Terry Vanoverloop, a 53-year-old Jamestown woman was killed following a Baldwin Street 2-vehicle crash Monday night.

It was just past 7 p.m. on May 18 when the deadly vehicle crash happened in Valley Springs.

CHP stated that Brian Johnson, 63, from Jackson, was driving an eastbound Ford sedan toward Baldwin Street from the Good Samaritan Church parking lot with his passenger, Kathleen Johnson, 62, also from Jackson. 

At the same time, Vanoverloop, along with her passenger, Brandie Boulware, 48, of Mountain Ranch, was driving a northbound Honda sedan on Baldwin Street, toward the church.

According to the authorities, Johnson turned onto Baldwin Street in a northerly direction and collided with Vanoverloop’s vehicle. 

As a result, Vanoverloop’s sedan overturned onto the east shoulder, ejecting her. Police said Vanoverloop was not wearing a seatbelt and incurred fatal injuries.

Meanwhile, Johnson’s vehicle rested on its wheels, on the west shoulder of Baldwin Street. 

Police are still investigating and do not consider alcohol or drugs as factors in the fatal crash.
