Tessa Knight Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on Highway 1 and Highway 183 [Monterey County, CA]

1 Person Dead in Monterey County Auto Accident on Highway 1 and Highway 183

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (October 10, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Tessa Knight after a fatal DUI crash on Highway 1 and Highway 183.

The incident happened on Highway 1 and Highway 183.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound Mazda traveling in the northbound lanes collided head-on with a Subaru.

As a result, responding paramedics pronounced the driver of the Subaru, dead at the scene. Then, responders transported the 23-year-old driver of the Mazda to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Moreover, officers arrested the Knight on suspicion of DUI.

Furthermore, officers withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
