Motorcyclist Thomas Arlotta Dies in Collision on Anaheim Street in Long Beach
Long Beach, CA (February 12, 2026) — A motorcyclist, 30-year-old Thomas Arlotta, lost his life following a crash on Anaheim Street Tuesday morning.
According to police, the fatal Long Beach motorcycle collision happened shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Anaheim Street and Linden Avenue.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Anaheim Street when he entered the intersection and collided with a Mercedes-Benz that was turning left onto southbound Linden Avenue from westbound Anaheim. The impact threw the rider from the motorcycle.
Officers and the other driver attempted to provide aid until Long Beach Fire Department crews arrived and transported the rider to a nearby hospital. Despite emergency efforts, the motorcyclist later died from his injuries. He was identified as Thomas Arlotta. The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
