State Route 507 Multi-Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries

Thurston, WA (May 11, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, an 18-year-old Tenino woman, a 23-year-old Roy woman, and a 26-year-old Olympia man sustained injuries in a State Route 507 hit-and-run crash.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. near Turner Road west of the town of Rainier.

Officers say an unidentified driver was southbound on the freeway struck a black Ford Focus driven by the Tenino woman, also southbound on the freeway.

Then, a northbound blue BMW driven by the Olympia man with the Roy woman to also the Focus which rested on the northbound shoulder.

Witnesses say that the unidentified driver drove southbound on the freeway after the collision.

All the three injured people drove themselves to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

The authorities are still searching for the unidentified driver.
