Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Lubbock Hit-and-Run Crash

Lubbock, TX (August 21, 2025) On Tuesday evening, 44-year-old motorcyclist Todd Boicourt was seriously injured after a hit-and-run on Idalou Frontage Road.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the shocking incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on the Idalou Frontage Road near East Baylor.

Reports say that a car struck Boicourt, and the driver fled the scene without helping. EMS later transported Boicourt to UMC for treatment of serious injuries.

Investigators with the Major Crash Unit are working to identify the driver and continue to review the circumstances of the collision.
