Todd Simkinson Injured in Crippling UTV Crash on Yacht Club Drive [Ozarks, MO]

OZARKS, MO (September 4, 2024) – Sunday night, Todd Simkinson sustained injuries in a crippling UTV crash on Yacht Club Drive.

The incident happened at around 7:25 p.m. on Yacht Club Drive near Marina View Drive.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2023 Can-Am Defender UTV failed to negotiate a curve, veered off the right side of the road, and rolled over.

Moreover, responders rushed the passenger of the UTV, identified as 50-year-old Simkinson, to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the UTV was not hurt in the crash.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the two occupants of the UTV were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
