Toledo Way Collision Critically Injures 81-Year-Old Man

14-Year-Old Arrested in Lake Forest Hit-and-Run Crash

Orange County, CA (April 20, 2026) – An 81-year-old man sustained critical injuries following a Toledo Way collision Thursday afternoon.

The traffic collision happened past 4 p.m. near Ridge Route Drive in Lake Forest.

Troopers said a 14-year-old boy driving an electric motorcycle designed for off-highway use struck the man and fled the scene.

Immediately, rescuers rushed to the crash scene and transported the victim to an area hospital.

Witnesses described the boy to the authorities and they later arrested him. They booked him into Orange County Juvenile Hall.
