Redding Fatal Pedestrian Accident Involves 53-Year-Old Tracy McCamly

Redding, CA (June 02, 2021) – On Tuesday, 53-year-old Tracy Mccamly was involved in a State Route 44 fatal pedestrian accident.

The accident took place at around 8:24 a.m. east of Hilltop Drive.

A gray Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Mccamly was eastbound in the left lane at 60 miles per hour.

Apparently, Mccamly passed the Hilltop Drive over-crossing.

Just then, a 34-year-old male pedestrian ran into traffic and directly into Mccamly’s path.

Immediately, Mccaml applied the brakes to avoid the accident but was unable to avoid the pedestrian.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian was struck and thrown onto the eastbound roadway.

The authorities pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
