Bicyclist Perished in Disastrous Bike-Car Crash on Wible Road

Bakersfield, CA (November 17, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, a man on a bicycle lost his life after a traffic accident on Wible Road.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the bike-car crash happened around 2:59 p.m. on the 3300 block of Wible Road.

Reports say that a female driver of a sedan struck a male bicyclist in southwest Bakersfield. The collision left the man down in the roadway suffering from major injuries.

Medics rushed the man to the hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the female driver stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

Authorities are investigating the fatal bike-car collision and have not released further information at this time.
