Phoenix, AZ (June 1, 2025) —A major six-vehicle collision on 16th Street in Phoenix sent eight people to local hospitals Saturday evening, including three children and one adult who suffered extremely critical injuries.

Emergency crews responded to the crash near 16th Street and Thomas Road at approximately 7 p.m. after receiving reports of a multi-vehicle accident.

Authorities said six vehicles were involved in the collision. Paramedics transported eight people to area hospitals for treatment, while two others declined medical transport.
