Driver Killed After Car Crashes Into Semi-Truck in West Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (September 12, 2026) — On Thursday morning, a driver died after a shocking collision on 75th Avenue when a white car crashed into a semi-truck.

The crash happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. on September 10 at 75th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Phoenix police officers arrived and found the car crushed beneath the semi-truck. Authorities pronounced the car’s driver dead at the scene.

Police had not released the driver’s identity. Investigators also had not determined what caused the crash or confirmed whether anyone else suffered injuries.

The intersection remained closed while police investigated.
