Tragic Traffic Collision on Barnes Road Kills 2 People [Colorado Springs, CO]

Colorado Springs, CO (June 30, 2025) On Sunday afternoon, a motorcycle traffic collision on Barnes Road claimed the lives of two people.

According to authorities, the deadly motorcycle crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road.

Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a collision Investigators determined that a motorcycle had t-boned a pickup truck. Both individuals riding the motorcycle died as a result of the crash.

Authorities shut down all southbound lanes at Vanadium Drive to conduct the investigation. The department’s Major Crash Team took over the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
