Saline County, MO (September 14, 2026) — A 42-year-old man from Liberty died Saturday morning after a horrific collision on Interstate 70 in Saline County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man had been involved in an earlier crash near mile marker 62. He later entered the roadway and was hit by a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man from Annapolis, Maryland.

The Liberty man died after the collision. The Maryland driver did not report any injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
