Pedestrian Seriously Injured, One Arrested in Yakima Collision
Yakima, WA (July 2, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a horrific traffic collision on Lincoln Avenue.
According to Yakima Police, the frightening collision happened between North 9th Street and North 8th Street.
Officials have closed a portion of East Lincoln Avenue as officers investigate a serious collision. The incident, which involved a male pedestrian who sustained serious injuries after a vehicle hitting him.
Authorities transported the injured pedestrian to the hospital.
Police have taken one person into custody on suspicion of vehicular assault.
The condition of any other individuals involved in the crash remains unknown. Officers will keep the road closed while their investigation continues.
